Non
small cell lung cancer is often subject to complications. Even after treatment, fluid can accumulate in
the chest (pleural effusion) and prevents you from breathing normally. The cancer can also
obstruct the airways, which increases the risk of respiratory
infections like bronchitis or pneumonia. In addition, Non small cell lung cancer can spread into to other parts
of the body to form metastases. Most often, the metastases are formed in the bone, brain or liver. Once in these
organs, the tumors can cause:
- bone
disease
- neurological
disorder
- liver problems
- Death.
