Hodgkin's Lymphoma Survival Rates

Unlike many other cancers, the survival rate of Hodgkin lymphoma is good. With early diagnosis and proper treatment, you have approximately 90% chance of being cured from Hodgkin lymphoma.  

 The overall 5-year relative survival rate for 1999-2005 was 84.7%; however, the rate varies with age and sex. According to the National Cancer Institute, five-year relative survival rates by race and sex for 1999-2005 were approximately:   

·         83.6% for white men 

·         86.7% for white women 

·        77.3% for black men 

·         87.4% for black women.
