Cancer of the fallopian
tubes is the rarest of gynecologic cancers, representing approximately 1-2% of all gynecological cancers
worldwide. In the United States, the incidence of fallopian tube cancer was estimated at 0.41 per 100,000 women
from 1998 to 2003. The highest incidence was found in white, non-Hispanic women and women aged
60–79.
