Brain cancer is a life threatening disease; even with effective therapies, it can lead to neurological and physiological damage. Some complications that can be associated with brain cancer include:

• Cataracts  
• Brain herniation (fatal) 
• Permanent progressive neurological disorders   
• Recurring brain cancer  
• Death.
