Symptoms
Symptoms and signs of bone
cancer may be similar to those of other medical conditions. It is important to contact your doctor before
assuming that you have bone cancer. In general, symptoms of bone cancer include:
Pain - if you have bone cancer, you may feel pain during
movement or activities, or even at rest. The pain may even wake you up at night.
Swelling or
lump - the region
of bone affected by the cancer may be swollen, red and hot to the touch.
In addition,
bone cancer can cause the following:
- cough
- fever
- anemia
- fractures
- fatigue
- shortness
- unreasonable
weight loss
- coughing
up blood (hemoptysis).
